I Give Up On Windows

Today, Wednesday, January 20, 2010, I will go on the record for officially giving up on writing for Windows for this website. As a Mac owner and a college student the only computer I happen to own is a 15" Macbook Pro. I do not have the time nor the money to review Windows applications on my Mac and to be quite honest I do not own a copy that I can even install on my Macintosh. Most of my previous testing has been using the 90-day evaluation copies and virtual machines, but I fear that I am not getting the best results within a virtual environment and quite frankly am tired of having to reinstall Windows. If somebody at Microsoft would like to give me a copy of Windows 7 I would consider looking back into reviewing for the Windows platform. I just wanted to set the record straight that from now one this website will be primarily Mac-focused due the limited time and resources of the staff (Albert Wallace is also a Mac user). It is not that I do not like Windows, it is really more than at home I primarily use my Mac for all of my work. I hope you appreciate this and I hope to keep writing insightful articles for you in the future.

Thank you.
